My fiancée Scarlett and I wanted to organise a honeymoon trip to America. Neither of us had travelled there before so we were open to ideas but knew we wanted to see Orlando, the Florida Keys and Miami.

I spoke to Martine and explained our current (vague!) ideas and budget. Based on our first telephone call, Martine selected the vast majority of the hotels we ended up staying at. Its rare to find a company who actually listen and tailor the service to what you actually want, as opposed to the one size fits all approach ive experienced before.
Scarlett and I made adjustments when we found a specific place we’d like to see or visit, and nothing was too much trouble to alter or change.

I am writing this as it is the best way I can imagine to thank Martine and Sadie at Pebbles Travel for their outstanding customer service. If you think you don’t need a travel agent these days because it can all be booked on the internet, trust me, you need these girls! The peace of mind that your precious holiday time has been professionally organised is priceless. Our trip to Dubai was complicated, 8 couples, all with differing budgets and requirement. The devil is in the detail and they took care of that perfectly. They have been endlessly patient with all sorts of curve balls from dietary requirements to swapping passengers. Always full of fun and quietly very on the ball their experience and knowledge will lead you to locations on planet earth you had never even heard of. They will find the best deal in the best location, call ahead for you and make it all appear seamless. We know how much research and hard work making things look easy takes so thank you for the holiday of a life time, for your expedience, professionalism and for taking all the burden of booking and admin away so that a holiday can be a true break! I speak for myself and my friends when I say we can not recommend this team highly enough. If they were a pebble on a beach they would be the ones I’d take home!

We used Pebbles travel to book our honeymoon to the Maldives. I have known Martine for many years. We were looking for advice on which Island to go to and her knowledge on the area was invaluable.

The whole booking process from start to finish was 1st class, she also enabled us to get our guests to contribute towards the honeymoon as wedding gifts.

I would highly recommend Martine and Sadie at Pebbles Travel, they are complete experts in travel, and the service given was impeccable.

We want to thank you so much for helping us make a dream come true. We have just literally returned from our holiday having had the most wonderful time. Travelling on a dreamliner called Living The Dream was a positive omen! The flight was smooth and comfortable, paying for the extra legroom was a perfect suggestion. From Cancun to our hotel was a short journey and ours was the first stop. We were greeted with smiles and efficiency, a theme that’s maintained throughout the week. Our rooms were super, comfortable and clean. It was really an all-inclusive holiday that made us feel exclusive. The restaurants all served fantastic food and during the course of the week we managed to try most. The health bar served wonderful fresh and healthy foods, shakes and juices enjoyed by us all. We really have had the most wonderful time. The only things that we can feedback for future reference is that we needed cash for the activities we were not able to put them on our room, we took Pesos but US dollars were more commonly used and referred to. The dress code was misleading and it was certainly more lax than we were lead to believe. The sea was rougher than usual which meant we were not able to snorkel as we had hoped.
Nevertheless we had a truly exceptional holiday and thanks go to you both for helping us achieve this, we have never done anything like this before but will certainly do it again. What seemed like a very expensive holiday at the onset has turned out to be incredibly good value. We shall certainly come back to you again when we are ready to do this sort of holiday again, which hopefully will not be too long.

Not sure if you got our card but I just wanted to say a big thank you for organising such an amazing Honeymoon for us, and for the prosecco we received when we got home it was such a lovely surprise!

Everything about the honeymoon was fantastic, you were definitely right about the Banyan Tree in Bangkok, it was such a lovely hotel and the cocktails and canapés in the evening was a lovely bonus too!

The Katathani in Kata Noi was really lovely hotel, with friendly staff and the grounds were well maintained. The food and the drinks were a little expensive, but there were restaurants along the same road as the hotel which served the most amazing food which was inexpensive.

Many thanks again for all your hard work, we had such a great time.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for putting together such an amazing holiday to Burma for us. Everything was perfect starting with amazing seats on the plane. On the outward journey we had fantastic seats on the upper deck, just two seats and lots of leg room and also got a two seat on the way home which was great as there were only four pairs of seats available so really well done in securing those for us. Buffaloe tours were excellent and looked after us really well, we would particularly like to thank Khun Aung Than who was our guide at Inle Lake and was really knowledgeable. All hotels were good but if you have any clients going to Ngpali we thought the Sandoway Resort was just outstanding so highly recommend that. We also enjoyed our river cruise which was a great way to get from Mandalay to Bagan. It was basic in terms of catering but very comfortable and a good way to travel. So overall it was just an amazing holiday and we really appreciated the fact that you got the hotels and itinerary that we wanted, particularly to have four days in Bagan which has so much to see.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for all the hard work you put in to organise and make our Costa Rica holiday so special – and at fairly short notice. As you know it was to celebrate one of us reaching 60 and the other’s retirement and this destination couldn’t have been better.

Stunning scenery everywhere. Some amazing hotels, amazing guided tours and I even managed (with my vertigo) the hanging bridges without holding on!!!

Chris took a fishing rod – caught nothing in the Caribbean but was thrilled to catch a grey snapper in the Pacific (he’s never fished that ocean before so that’s ticked off his list now). Shame it wasn’t big enough to eat so went back…. and the chef was waiting to cook it for us ????

We saw wonderful wildlife – birds, mammals, spiders and reptiles with our guides, and every driver, including just ordinary taxi drivers were always looking around to try and spot sloths or other fascinating creatures for us to stop and look at. The Costa Rican people are so friendly and the country is a safe destination even, I would suggest, for a female lone traveller. And you can drink the water!
